Tell me why Rattler is so highly regarded as Heisman candidate and he has played very little at Oklahoma? I think he only played in a couple of games and threw just a dozen passes or so in his entire career. I read somewhere that he hasn’t even been named the starter yet by Coach Riley? I think he got into trouble as a high school player and was suspended from school at one point. ETN should certainly be favored over seldom used quarterback ... I think.

because of Lincoln riley that is why rattler is a Heisman candidate I mean look at the other quarterbacks he has coach Baker Mayfield, Kyler murray, and Jalen Hurts don't get me wrong all of those guys are talented but coach riley system has something to do with it as well

As soon as you accept the fact that the best players usually don't get a Heisman trophy. The Heisman award contest is appointed mostly by sports journalists, and they lobby the other voters that are connected with college sports that also have a vote, but they are swayed by sports journalist to vote for their favorite QB, RB, or WR.
IMPO, the thing of a true John Heisman type player has been tossed wayward long ago for the media favorite. I will admit that I am bias of our Tigers, but our Tiger have had a true John Heisman player in CJ Spiller and DW4, and maybe there were others, but CJ and DW4 were true John Heisman players, and should "Won" the Heisman trophy over the media appointed favorites!!!

No Heisman when you only play in the first half. Not going to have the sexy stats.

If the Big10 and PAC12 actually go thru with their spring season, I bet they convince the NYAC to postpone the Heisman award until May. That would big a huge ripoff given the JV exhibition season they will play.
