waa afraid of a letdown after the way yesterday played out. But if there's gonna be any hope of making something happen over the 2nd half of the season & returning to the postseason, winning this series @ Wake was desperately needed piece of that puzzle. Sure hope this is a momentum builder.

This is a start but they have a long way to go just to make the ACC tournament. By the way I don’t like it when the baseball tournament was changed to pool play (lose the first game in pool play and you are in a hole).

Receiving no notification in my emails, I assumed Clemson had lost this series as well. I am thrilled that we took a series, and we did it on the road. Clemson fought hard against a good opponent who was hot. That gives encouragement for the remainder of the season. Baseball is streaky. We started out amazingly hot and have fallen from grace. Perhaps this series is enough to get us back on track. Go Tigers!

Baseball has become painful to watch since Wilhelm then Leggett retired. I knew big ball would never work. I remember the turning point. Losing to Vanderbilt in the regional where they played small ball and out pitched us. We were loaded with talent and better than Vandy yet got swept. It appears mediocrity is the standard in mens sports not coached by Dabo. I guess I was spoiled by Wilhelm. Meh.

Went to the game Saturday, hate to blame ump but out of the gate we walk 3 and then give up a grand slam then we walk one and hit one and give up a 3 run hr...so down 7-1 after 1st inning. Team battled back to 9-9 and just missed opportunity to win in 9th. Kudos for coming back on Sunday!
