My ladies fought hard. They were having some problems on defense. It's like they were confused on who was supposed to cover who. Not sure if it's a scheme problem or just youth. Will be honest though, I didn't follow it shot by shot since FB was on.

If the young freshman can gel and mature next season I can see it being a great year. Even though our record doesn't indicate it, we're actually not that far off from finishing and turning these games around.

On the positive side, Kionna Gaines may have finally found her game. She scored 18 points in 18 minutes. Hopefully, she can become the third scoring option we need. Delicia Washington deserves strong consideration for 1st or 2 team All ACC.

Was so happy for Kionna. A night she'll never forget. Hopefully that is just the beginning. Washington has to be first team... Doesn't she? Everyone in the building knows she's going to shoot. And she consistently does it.

Yes, early last season I thought she monopolized the ball too much but she has won me over. Among the top ACC leaders in many statistical categories categories.
