It's about to get VERY, VERY, VERY ugly. We needed a series win here if this team was gonna have a prayer of righting the ship & making something happen this season. So I'm tapping out baseball this year - its time to clean house. Here's hoping that softball finishes strong & that spring ball/summer workouts/recruiting for football go great b/c looks like anything coming out of DKS isn't gonna give me hope.

It's already really ugly. This baseball program is circling the drain. Maybe Monte should get an extension. That's what we seem to do to all programs except football. Reward mediocrity.

This isn’t mediocre. This is pathetic. I’m certainly no college baseball expert, but I think we seem to recruit relatively well, so I have to think it’s their preparedness that is leading to this.

I thought early in the year we had confidence and our pitching was solid. Now I think our competition early in the year was that bad. This seems to be a repeating theme with Monte. He has to figure out how to get our guys ready to compete or we need to make a change. Our baseball program is starting to resemble our basketball program and that’s not good.

What's up with Monte and media postgame interview these last 2 games now,he just don't want or feel like answering questions????This is not the first time during his 7 years that he has done this after a loss either.

It’s no different than his performance on the field, the man simply doesn’t have the answers. Never did, never will. I’ll never understand watching the product on the field why people expect anything different from him. The time to cut the cord is right now, hand the program over to LeCroy and see if he can at least salvage the season, while looking for a strong candidate for next season.
