I haven’t lost faith in CDS (only an opinion) was CDS and what’s left of Athletic dept. The President, along with the Trustees for Clemson, I think they need to go out publicly and reassure the fan base and Supporters, current players and our recruiting classes for what’s left of early recruitment, that CLEMSON will maintain a top presence in Academic and Athletic standards and let them know for AD, OC & DC they are hard at work on the fulfillment of those vacant positions and Clemson will remain at the top of the food chain. Fans just need some public reassurance that they are working on top candidates either with hires from within and from the outside of the program. Our team needs to know without rumors or speculation that active searches are progressing to Clemson standards. My feelings on recruits committing - if they wind up going to either of the schools, Clemson supporters should take offense to that because they were being recruited on Clemson’s payroll. Not looking for personal attacks because I do trust our culture. I just think it’s time for someone to speak out publicly. GO TIGERS!! and CLEMSONS SOCCER TEAM IS GOING TO BE PLAYING FOR THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS!!! EVERYTHING TIGERS, just speak up. Also, we all know that Bama expects that CDS will eventually take over for an aging Saban. So they need to make it harder financially for Dabo to ever leave. #ALLIN #GoTigers

I would rather have them focused on finding good replacements and doing their due diligence in the interview process instead of some dumb presser to make the fan base feel better. We all know the coordinators left, the implied task is that Dabo hires new ones. I dont think anybody needs this explained to them. Its not Dabo's or DR's job to hold the fan base's hand through this transition period, its their job to navigate the team through it. Its hard to steer the ship through a storm when you gotta stop to console the sailors (and as fans we arent even that). Dabo, outside of a few warranted instances, is a "dont talk about it, be about it" coach that has a history of very sound coaching hires, so maybe find comfort in that...or dont, but dont think Dabo owes us a #### word until hes done with the task at hand.

Because if you've lost faith in the coach that has built the team into 2 national championships, then you were never a fan to begin with. If not naming a DC in the window of time you seem to think is appropriate makes you lose confidence then move on and find another team to be a whiny baby about. Any worker in any field wants a better job and coaches are no exception. Coach Elliott was a huge part of some great teams and many offensive records were set by his players. He will be missed and UVA is better for it.
