Terrible news to report for one of Clemson's favorite sons. Jacksonville Jaguars rookie running back Travis Etienne will likely miss the 2021 season as he will undergo Lisfranc surgery on his left foot according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. speed/moves- it's ended some careers - hopefully not as bad and they've gotten better with the surgery

Hate it for ETN. Also hate it for our future RBs trying to get drafted. Spiller battled injuries his career, and now ETN (a normally durable back) is out for his first season at a position where you normally only get 2-4 seasons.
Also hate it for Trevor. He was already going to get sacked 50 times this season, now he'll be looking at closer to 70 or 80

Exactly what I thought immediately when I heard the news, hopefully their offensive line will be much better when he comes back.
Might be a blessing in disguise. Not that we’d ever want him or anyone to be injured!
Praying he heals perfectly as God is perfect.

Travis has gone home to play in the Superdome 3 times now and he’s 0-3 with a season-ending injury. May Clemson never play in that disease ridden place again.

I was talking to my brother just as he was jogging into the huddle about our recent record in the Super Dome. We really need to stay out of NOLA at all costs. I feel horrible for Travis. I grew up in Jax, and I know that a lot of fans weren't exactly thrilled at the pick. I was really hoping for him to bust one loose.. Oh well, get well soon ETN.

he didn't get injured in college. ETN played for 4 years at Clemson, had great success and certainly has no regrets. He ended up being drafted in the 1st round and is now well taken care of no matter what happens going forward.
I'm just trying to show some positivity on a very bad thing. Hope he completely recovers and has a productive career with the Jags.

Urban mentioned in an interview that ETN had been making many chunk plays in practice & that had a huge role for him & this hurts & their plan, he said they are working on how to help replace those plans the best they can.
The way he talked they were holding him for the regular season & then surprise other teams.
