CJ's current career path is the NFL

And in the NFL, football players are for sale.
CJ is a football player and understands what is going on. The Chiefs are playing with their finances, and they will pay CJ to help with this next game. CJ gets it. He isn't in the wrong. In fact, he's blessed to have the opportunity. And further, while it appears to be greed driven financial decisions that keep CJ on and off the roster, you can't really call the Cheif's ownership bad either. Greedy maybe. Utilizing the system trying to win games, yes. But bad people? I don't know about that. Does anyone here really know anyone personally in the Chief's leadership? I know I don't.
As it stands, CJ is a grown man, utilizing his ability to earn a living and support his family. There is NO fault with CJ here. If he so chooses to get placed and cut a hundred more times, then so be it. But it's not on us as fans and layman to try and say CJ is making bad decisions.

What would be the circumstances that he actually sees the field?
I love CJ and would love to see him carry the ball and be productive.

This is just doing business in the NFL and CJ knows that. He made a nice chunk of change this year getting signed, cut, re-signed and re-cut.

Incredible athlete who is ultra-valuable when utilized properly. He's also the other Tiger in recent history that should have been awarded the Heisman.
