I like the staff. I realize others wanted some other names but most would have been thrilled had Monte ditched See last year and lured him away from FSU. Needed new blood and we're getting it.

Schnabel is the one coach Bakich brought with him from Mich. It was a “he comes or I don’t” kind of thing. And he is now currently on staff at Clemson & is already hard at work getting the program back on track as assistant coach!!! LFG TIGERS!!!

These 5 guys were chunking to HS teams a year ago. All flashed this past year. Coach B probably dreamed of having this much to start with in Michigan.
3 guys in Cape Cod league and Wagner in green Bay this summer. Wagner might come back. Yeah, I'm stoked.

Sure hope so. Recent results haven't been great. Even beating the coots isnt what it used to be.

Pitchers try to throw strikes and coaches recruit players. Here's hoping our new coaches can bring in some pitchers that can throw strikes. Don't blame the coach once the kid has the ball.

How many times this past year have we had a pitcher get 0 (or 1) ball and 2 strikes on a guy with off speed stuff that is working and the pitching coach (See, I assume) calls for a fastball and surprise.... the 89 or 90 mph fastball (think, batting practice) is lined over the fence.
Frustrating to watch and pitcher did his best but sometimes you have to stick with what's working and avoid giving in to the batter.

Sounds like a great addition to the staff. Clemson still has a strong enough name in college baseball to get in some good pitchers if we can help them develop.
