Doesn't help much when their faces are completely covered with their helmets!

I remember when I played Varsity HS football in the late 80s and we had one OL that was 285lb. Most were 240 - 260lb and our DLine was 245-265. Our LBs were in the 190 - 210lb range but we had a huge well known stud RB that was 6'2" at 225. Played pro ball for Browns for couple yrs after Coot yrs.

That said I started at CB, I was 5'10" and weighed 154-158lb because I wrestled and always cut weight too. I had schollie offers in both FB and Wrestling.

I am amazed at the size of kids nowadays. I remember Danny had one of the first OLs that averaged 280lbs which was the first College to equal an NFL team. That said, I remember having to hit that RB coming around the corner weighing 70lbs more and it was pure pain. But my coaches always applauded me for turning him inside even if I didn't get stop, ha! I remember the RB always loved me, called me "Lizard" because I wouldn't let go if I got my hands on him.
