Yes me too...Tom Landry in a Fedora, Waters, Staubach, Dorsett, Randy White, Too Tall Jones, Drew Pearson, Tony Hill, Newhouse, etc etc.

I may be wrong, but I believe Charlie had been a quarterback up until his senior year at Clemson (my freshman year), and he moved to receiver for his senior season. I don't believe he ever played any defense at Clemson, so I thought it odd that he was moved to defense as a corner back at Dallas. Guess that says a lot about my football knowledge (or lack thereof), because he went on to be a great defensive standout for the Cowboys, and I think he even was All Pro.

Without a doubt, Charlie Waters made Clemson fans very proud early, before many alumni would make it to the NFL!
