Sometimes, Dabo don't seem to be that HC that he was when he became a 1st time ever HC. It seems to me like he has lost that fire, and being h&11 bent on doing whatever it took to keep the team moving forward with every step. Is getting a little soft bc, 5 years ago, he would have already done whatever was necessary to fix whatever the problem/problems were, and he didn't make excuses, nor did he shy away from what sometimes has to be done!!!!

I love all the guys that come back to Clemson to help the team. Some have been promoted to coaches, but it seems like we have a lot of young guys with not much experience coaching on the offensive side of the ball all at once. Maybe it makes sense to go out and pull one or two VERY experienced coaches off of Dabo's "coaching contingency" list to fill vacancies instead.

And while I know you don't want to "burn" a player like DJ whose passing game has been pretty erratic so far, why not bring in a very capable Taisun Phommachanh (who's only missed 3 passes so far) for a series or two to keep the opposing defense guessing. Not only that, but there could be a coach in DJ's ear during the series to help him in his development.

As Dabo has said, we have some young players on the offensive side of the ball, but as much as you want a player to stay in the game and try to work through a bad series, sometimes it makes more sense to give them a breather (physically and mentally) and regroup. Besides, you may get a spark from other players that deserve to play too - it might surprise you who that next "diamond" ends up being.

Also, I totally believe in discipline and tough love, and if a player is in the doghouse, you sit him. However, if he is available, play him as much as he deserves to play according to his talent and performance.

I ALWAYS support the Tigers, but I'm concerned that, in 3 games, the offense seems to be doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results - I don't see much growth so far.

The next game will tell us a lot ... Go Tigers!
