I'm going to assume that if Dabo approved going after this kid with an offer, they will recruit him really hard. An offer to him should let him know that Clemson believes that he is special, with him being the first to get an offer from a school that hasn't used the portal after this much time has passed before actually going after someone from the the portal since it beginning!!!

Obviously, you don't have a clue how recruiting even works. Kids grow up dreaming about playing for certain schools only to sign somewhere else all the time and why should we not at least give an effort because some internet person thinks it's a waste of time.

Did we offer him out of high school? Saw a previous poster say he was the #4 tackle out of high school, if Nappier sold him on Louisiana I’m sure he has sold him on Florida. Would love to get the kid but outside of there being a altercation or bad blood between him and Nappier or staff, I don’t see us getting him.

maybe it reveals why we didn’t offer this particular guy out of high school.
Honestly, we have no shortage of big highly regarded OL on our squad. We’ve recruited well in OL.
If any problem exists, it’s that the players haven’t produced at the college level.
That could be attributed to anything from sub-par coaching, to poor evaluation, to injuries.
But, the fact remains, that we have signed plenty of guys equal too or superior to this on portal transfer.

I surly wish that Dabo could make a hire on the offensive side of the ball that could bring the same qualifications as Eason on the defensive side of the ball. If that could happen, recruits like this guy would be a lot easier to reel in for the offense!!!
