I expected this is word was after he had his offical visit last weekend he was probably canceling future visits. A solid pick up and happy he wants to be a Tiger, but just feel that we are not taking advantage of the NCAAT appearance last season, and adding a Top 60 prospect in PJ Hall two classes ago by not getting more elite 4* and 5* talent.
We had two 5 star players from the state of SC this class. One decided to go play pro in Europe, and the other 5 star power forward Julian Phillips is probably going to Florida State or dark horse pick Southern Cal.
Hopefully, this young man's potential is better than his star rating, but looks like another top 60 type of class considering the other prospects we are heavily involved with. Of course, maybe we keep getting good players through the transfer portal.

Was reading an article on the remaining 5* bball prospects and 2 had Bama listed as highly likely. They must be taking it seriously now. Sadly none had Clemson listed but I have no idea if they were a fit, if we were full or anything like that.

Was reading an article on the remaining 5* bball prospects and 2 had Bama listed as highly likely. They must be taking it seriously now. Sadly none had Clemson listed but I have no idea if they were a fit, if we were full or anything like that.
This was the first commit, so they still have about 3 or 4 more spots for next season. They will probably decide on two or more players through the transfer portal.

Wow how things have changed in basketball over the years. This may be the first time in history that a 6'9" and 190 pound kid is called a "power forward" so hopefully he can shoot the eyes out of it.
