Too bad the staff at TigerNet have not been around long enough to have run outside and yelled at the top of their lungs when Buckner made the dunk against Carolina or he would be referred to as Greg Buckner, not former Clemson standout.

Have we had a single season under Brad that could be

considered a 'physical' team? Buckner's group was lights out in that category, and Purnell's teams seemed to be trending in that direction with our aggressive press defenses. KJ was a high-flying and aggressive defender in his day, but don't know that the team itself was necessarily a physical team at his peak. Our Sweet 16 year was more DeVoe driven with lights out shooting and scoring.

Hoping Buckner will be available and interested should things not pan out well in the season(s) ahead. We certainly know which direction he would take us in.

Go Tigers!

I am calling it right now the next head basketball coach at Clemson whenever Clemson decides to let coach Brownell go

GM must have heard that BB is a lame duck

I’m no way related, but this move may have wiped out any chance of Buckner considering Clemson (or any college job). He will get a NBA head coaching job within a few years. Good for him & bad for Tigers.

Congrats to Coach Buckner. I had forgotten he played in the NBA as long as he did. He should get a shot as a head coach soon.
