Happy for Typo. Hopefully the G Tech trainers were helpful for the Achilles.
He had a lot of chops coming in, if he can get healthy and confident he could shine there. And familiar territory. He's close to being a grad if not already. Didn't see that in the writeup.

I would imagine Clemson and Ga Tech credits transfer pretty well. I wouldn't think he has any more than a year left at that.

Someone needs to do an in depth study on the portal and what the percentages are for success vs just bouncing around from school to school. I wish TP the best and don't blame him from transferring but it just seems like rinse and repeat with the majority of these transfers. You'll hear about the success stories but the others seem to be forgotten by most.
Kevin Dodd is one that I think of often. He would have been a prime candidate to transfer if the portal was available to him. Instead he stuck it out and ended up getting drafted in the 2nd round after starting for 1 year.

Perhaps being closer to home and playing primarily against teams with less talent will result in more playing time for him...wishing him luck.

I tend to agree, but those “teams closer to home” all have one thing in common: very little sunshine or warmth on Saturdays in November.
I haven’t looked it up, but I’d bet he hasn’t thrown more than 20 live passes in a season in his entire college career. I can’t imagine him becoming an every-down QB this year either, but I’d love to be wrong.
