Former Clemson kicker Chandler Cantazaro has been released according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Catanzaro retired from the NFL last August but was giving it a go Read Update »

but I always felt he got screwed by Tampa in 2018. He had missed some easy kicks and even extra points that year but did also kick a 59 yd game winner a few weeks before being cut. It was also after a game in which his offense had 4 turnovers...but only the kicker catches the blame

If i remember correctly, he missed more PATs than FGs that year...which pi$$ed off the fans.

Reading the Bucs fan board, they were all wanting him replaced constantly. Of course, every fan thinks every kick is makeable, in spite of the fact that the NFL keeps changing the rules to make all kicks from scrimmage less automatic.

So when the NFL gets what it wants, the fans revolt.
