That tells me that this kid is better at judging talent on the roster, and he didn't see all that much playing time before his senior year at Clemson, so chose to commit where he figure on getting early snaps before his senior year!!!

Nope, he got lucky at Florida A&M which is basically FSU’s prostitution school. It’s been that way since Burger King Bobby was there even though he called himself a Christian. Winning over morals any day of the week for a Bowden.

I have been saying for years the only recruiting ranking that should be used is the 24/7 composite.
Every article about a recruit has a different recruiting service quoted. Then you look at the recruits profile and the rankings are all over the map. I wish we could get just the composite ranking in the article. We can still click the link and look at individual recruiting service.s. But for the purpose of the story I would love to know the composite.
Our staff has a proven ability to assess and develop talent, which is ultimately all that matters. But dismissing recruiting rankings is foolish because in the macro they are pretty accurate from a predictive standpoint of success.

This is the only bummer news so far this recruiting cycle. God I wanted him so bad. Hopefully Woods commits to us on Friday. Maybe Eason can get Faulk to flip to us before signing day

Pretty sure Hall is the main DE recruiter but I am sure there is some overlap. We really need to find a true SDE to replace Murphy. Burley might be able to do so, Hoffler as well. We are good for the next two years at DT but we need dynamic DE's if we are going to primarily use a 4-3 base.

Agree. Let's not act like this doesn't sting, it does. Can't get em all but this would have been a huge pickup. Recruiting has been good and we certainly needed the numbers this year but we've missed our share of top targets this cycle also. That said, the article by Brandon, I believe, that showed our recruiting correlation after great seasons. Point being, if we meet our needs recruiting and not have to get into a portal cycle, a great CFP run will do wonders.

Why does it sting? You have two DT and two DE commitments already and you’re in on a couple more. How many do you want? There’s other needs.
