Been going to Clemson Football games since 1977 and never witnessed a season like this one with so many injuries and key ones at that.I know injuries are gonna happen but hopefully this will be the last season we see this many happen for many many many many seasons to come.

It's almost like every single series, one of our players are going out during the series because they're dinged up. Ship probably should have been held... Kid's a warrior but I think his legs still bothering him. I've never witnessed a season like this either. Actually haven't witnessed back to back seasons where we've had so many out - if you combine the last 2 years it's bizzare.

"Pace left for the locker room late in the second quarter after a possible helmet-to-helmet hit that wasn't called."

There isn't any "possible helmet-to-helmet hit" to it as it was obvious to anyone with eyes that it WAS a helmet-to-helmet hit. Even that Louisville loving, Norm McDonald "sound alike" in the booth that was calling the game (Tim Hasselbeck) admitted it was helmet-to-helmet.

Did you see how his body kinda tensed up while he was lying on the ground? I’m afraid he has a concussion and that one looked very serious to me. All 3 of them would’ve gotten a Clemson player removed.

Why did a coach not ask refs to replay that obvious target?***

I don’t understand how that hit on Pace was not reviewed? That’s been reviewed and called targeting all year across CFB. THAT IS SHAMEFUL.

Just unbelievable no-call. Did the guys in the booth fall asleep for heaven sake?

The play that took Pace out of the game absolutely should

Nov 7, 2021, 8:05 AM

have been targeting. Even the announcers could not believe the game wasn't stopped to have that play reviewed. Guess the zebras knew how important the middle linebacker really is as the captain of the defense. You can bet if Skalski had a hit that was in any way questionable, they would have shown HIM the door. A non-level playing field really torques me off.

Any word on Shipley? He was limping around some. I know he went back into the game, but is he dinged and receiving treatment or is there nothing to be concerned about?
