Another one bites the dust. How many have left in the last few years? Are we just missing on our evaluations, or is it the development issue? I know we have some young ones coming on, but do we have a problem that needs addressing? Now that the QB1 issue has been resolved, (for now), maybe Dabo will turn his attention to the WR room. Portal maybe?

He Pressed and lost some Confidence. Similar in some ways to DJ. Unfortunately, DJ’s Confidence is low!!!

Great observation and I agree completely. Very talented, just couldn't put it all together on the field.

In almost every case these guys are passed on the depth chart and want to play and won’t get much PT here. With Randall, Williams, and now Turner emerging it’s a good decision for EJ. That’s the way this with a top program. Survival of the fittest.

This isn’t a clemson problem. It’s a ncaa problem , kids get free rein. It’s happening to a lot of teams

Roster Management.
Agree with CDS, HS ranks is where you build program, but portal has changed things. Too many holes being created by portal. Portal has been a ONE-WAY street for CLEM. We are, by our choice, playing the game with UGA, OSU, BAMA with one hand tied behind our back--for ZERO reason. Same kids you are trying to protect are BAILING on you. 85 is already a LOW number. Can't leave those spots open or simply fill them with the next walk-on flavor of the day. WR and DB rooms are woefully thin for a major program like CLEM. Doesn't have to be that way.
SUBTLE changes, like allowing Summer OV (kudos Dabo) are all that are needed. Need to catch up here.....

Good luck EJ. Really hoping you'd try one more year.
If I were Dabo, I'd look at some g5 programs like a liberty, Tulane, jack st etc for someone that has proven film and vetted. Someone who wishes to go to a high profile school vs someone who couldn't crack a lineup. Saw some good ones that played on Wednesday nights during the season.

Good luck in the future! The way I look at it I usually we only get some of these guys for three years anyway and then if there good enough they go to the NFL and if not to the the portal with hopes of doing better somewhere else if they they don't do either there really dedicated tiger's
