Clemson updates depth chart out after opener

Clemson updated its depth chart after the opener versus Georgia. The two-deep reflects how snaps shook out in Charlotte with freshman Marcus Tate moving into the starting spot at left guard and Matt Bockhorst at center, with Hunter Rayburn and Trent Howard backing him up. Ok Nolan Turner is not listed at all at either safety. Did he decide not to play this year after all?

Good question. A lot of rumors on internet boards leading up to UGa game, but the only thing I heard was Herbie said he was out with a hamstring issue during the telecast. I can only assume he is also out for SC State and therefore not on the new depth chart.

Doesn’t matter at all…The way Mukuba and Phillips looked vs UgA we are all set at safety…

Looks as if Brockhorst and Putnam is about 1-2 weeks from being on that @$$…Rayburn and Pennington slowly climbing….they need to have a good show in practice.

Last Wednesday. Eventually, Bockhorst can return back to his natural position at Guard.
