So you can swap Bama and UGA for poor play but you can’t swap Clemson Michigan? Michigan hasn’t a played a team with a winning record or ranking…we’ve beat two top 15 teams in a back to back weeks.

Yep, and one was a road win, but, are we sure that #4 and #5 are truly top 4 and 5 teams in the country. I don't think that I'm ready to make that claim as of right now, but it's good to use when talking to a coot, if you do such a thing....

Look at it this way. We are getting better and better each week and are amongst the elite. Have you seen any other team improve weekly ? Georgia is stumbling along to be honest. Alabama has shown they aren't as strong as we thought and Bryce Young is injured ( hopefully nothing serious but ya just don't know ) and Michigan is clearly still living off the fruits of last year's team. OhioSt will drag them up and down the field when they play. We are actually on the inside sitting pretty. Unless you fear an upset there's nothing to be concerned with. Syracuse will be an intriguing matchup but beyond that I can't see where we might trip.

The main difference b/t Clemson and the rest...

Clemson has played and beaten a top-25 and a top-10 team so far.
Michigan has beat:
Hawaii (one of the power-5's top 10 worst teams each year)
UConn (ANOTHER one of the power-5's top 10 worst teams each year)
Colorado State: A MAC team.
Maryland: Annually, one of the worst teams in the nation.
I don't know WHO is bloviating Michigan, but I'm not buying it.
As for Alabama - they nearly got beat by unranked Texas and dropped one spot.
UGA was nearly beaten by an unranked Mizzou and they switches spots with Bama.
The coaches poll is obviously full of coaches that have no idea ### is going on.

They beat a top-5 ND (however over-ranked ND may have been at the time) and 4 others rather handily and are the only team that seems to have a competent team on both sides of the ball.
