offered. Yes, literally every program wants those guys.
They can only play for one school. Even though Bama wants them, and Ohio State wants them and Georgia wants them, they can only choose one.
When they choose that one school, will it mean that the other schools failed in their recruitment? When the top 3-4 ranked RBs commit there are going to be a lot of programs left out.
Clemson has not exactly been a destination program for top RBs going way back. Not sure what you’re expecting out of CJ Spiller on the recruiting trail to reverse that trend in quick order. It’s not like we were stockpiling 5-star RBs before Spiller took over.
We will sign a couple of really good RBs this year and they will be guys who can help us win big games.
They may not be the specific guys that the recruiting services are touting initially, but they will be really good players and we’ll be happy we signed them.
This particular player may be one of them.
