Clemson OF signs free agent MLB deal

Clemson redshirt junior outfielder Bryce Teodosio signed with a free agent contract with the Los Angeles, Clemson baseball announced on Sunday. The Simpsonville native filled the highlight reel with his defensive exploits and showed some power at the plate as well. Teodosio hit .235 this past season Read Update »

I don’t claim to be a baseball scouting expert…but it just seems so strange that hundreds of high school kids got drafted, and this guy didn’t.
So weird.

I agree 100%. I really thought we were going to be lucky and save him for 1 more year. Jeeze, we have a mass exodus, really sad!

Monte is very likable person but our baseball program is definitely not on the rise. I sure wish we were not wasting another year of hopes because I have a strong feeling he is gone before 2022 season.

So the 2022 season begins next spring. If he’s going to be gone in a few months then why not now? I’m confused.

Well he barely hit over .200 for his career and was a strikeout machine (he did improve on that this past year). Teams aren’t going to show much interest in you if you can’t hit.

Hopefully he keeps improving at the plate in rookie ball and becomes a great MLB player one day. He certainly is a great center fielder.
