I hope they hold a low hover for about 5 minutes so those comfortable folks in the apartments across the street can get a quick taste of FOB life and understand why we can sleep anywhere. LOL

It would be great if the University could somehow remind halftime tailgaters to respect the silent honor guard ceremony on the field.

We love an early game in the fall, going early and getting to the mostly empty parking lot, fixing a cup of coffee and walking around seeing the beautiful color of the trees.

Who made the decision to not allow Veterans to be recognized by going on the field at half time, as has been in the past for as long as I can remember... AND WHY!!!!!

I’ve never seen veterans on the field at halftime that weren’t being recognized in a special presentation. It’s the only game my dad goes to each year, he’s a veteran, and he’s never been on the field. As long as I can remember the PA announcer invites the vets to stand up when the band plays the song of their specific branch so that they can be recognized by the crowd. If every vet who stands during the song medley went onto the field we’d have to extend half time to an hour and a half.

Incorrect. We vets have been on the field in the west end zone for years. Sure, many choose not to go down but it’s been a thing for a LOOOOONG time. The reason it was stopped is for the same reason as no more gathering at the paw. Clemson hired a new police chief 3 years ago and he has been very concerned about the public going on the field since arriving from being the police chief in Charleston for many years. He’s driving all of these security changes. Probably needed but sad nonetheless.
