ND will take care of Cincy on Oct 2. Watched them against lackluster Indiana yesterday, Not that great. I will never understand how a Group of 5 team gets playoff consideration in the media after only playing 2 Power 5 opponents.
The biggest problem with dropping so much is that you have way too many teams to climb back over. If the teams ahead of us keep winning we have no place to go. We need to start helping ourselves if we want to control our own destiny.
Unless I missed something, we are still the highest rated one loss team in the country. We are probably where we should be after three games. If Cincy loses a game, they are done in terms of being a top six/eight team. Iowa has looked better than we up to this point and they are undefeated.

Look you talking heads. Tell me about another team, any team that that offense gas given up almost as many points as the defense. What has the defense given up? 12 freaking points. The offense has given up 9. Gimme a #### break. The offense will get better. They have to. Can't get any worse. So, you blowhards relax for the love of god and country. Hard choices will be made. Our boys will come on strong. They do every year as it goes on.
Just win football games and let the chips fall where they may. Can’t sweat the polls. In any event, I really hope the fan base has not reached the stage of peak entitledness in which we view anything less than top 4 as some kind of failure. Go Tigers.
