Whatever. The CFPC starts work in about a month. They are what matters. Not this other stuff. Keep winning and we're fine.

Win yes. Dominate is a must! We dont agree with the system and neither does Dabo, but with the national perception of the ACC if we dont dominate our opponents we will continue to drop. I like how we play a ton of players, but the current system will look at game control. We have to win the remainder of our games like yesterday or we could be sweating this thing later on. I dont agree with it, but it's the system that we have .

The CFPC will probably consider defense as being important

Alabama - 36th ranked defense
LSU - 25th

The Tigers should be #1 like they were at the beginning of the season. The media is in love with SEC teams and it's sickening. Guess our Tigers will have to kick some more SEC postseason a** to get recognized as the best team! GO TIGERS!!

Re: TNET: Clemson drops spot in new AP Poll

Just let them keep poking at the Tigers, and when they see the damage they do when they start swinging those sharp claws and hearing that terrifying ROAR in the playoff and NC game, they will have to eat Crow the same as they did at the end of last season with them choking on their tongues bc of how wrong they were, just as they were last season. Make them choke on their tongues enough times, and the idiots will have to change the tune of their same old tired A S S song!!!

I agree for one reason and one reason ONLY, and that is we've always been told, and I believe what we've always been told still holds true today regardless of what the SEC Homers are insinuating today. We have been told like forever, to be the MAN, you've got to beat the MAN, and we have beat the MAN two out of 3 straight played games, and nobody has beat us since we became the "MAN", and as far as I'm concerned, we are still #1 bc nobody can say they have beat the MAN, and we are still the "#1 MAN" until a BETTER MAN beats us!!!!

As a 3-3 team who is owned by the ACC.
Hilarious.

This tells you how biased the polls are in favor of the SEC teams who claim today that LSU has more "top ten wins" (7) vs AP top ten competition than any other team since 2016. They are only counting wins vs those ranked in the top ten when they were played...vs Clemson vs Syracuse last year when they were unranked but finished 18 in the final poll. Compare that with all the overrated SEC teams who drop out by the end of the year. LSU's ACTUAL record vs teams that finished in the top 25 (not top 10) since the CFP began is 6-12.

Alabama, Clemson and Ohio State are far better than everyone else.

Very good for us, I say. If we thought they were pissed at being dropped out of the #1 spot and subsequently took it out on the Noles, this ought to really get 'em fired up and motivated.

This slight after a convincing performance might be all it takes to get them completely focused for the stretch run. The national media might have just pulled on the wrong tiger's tail.

Hey y’all first time poster, long time reader. I too am tired of the SEC bias. I also find it humorous when stats are posted About SEC teams having more wins over top 5 teams or ranked teams. The B.S. ranking system assures that a SEC team will because they keep ranking them in the top 25 even with a 3-2 record or 4-2. Moving LSU ahead of Clemson was to position a 1 v 2 matchup when they play Alabama. So which ever team wins will boast a great resume and which ever one looses will stay in the top 4.

I Love that Dabo plays a ton of guys. I hate the late garbage TD’s but I wouldn’t change anything. The coaches need live film to coach from and there is only 1 way to get it. Not sure how a 31 point win is not impressive enough to keep the number 2 slot but all I know is we are 6-0 even with the scare against UNC. Bet Georgia would love a 1 point win right about now.

Re: TNET: Clemson drops spot in new AP Poll

Oct 13, 2019, 4:21 PM

Anybody that knows a thing about FB, they know that if our starters would have stayed in to at least the end of the 3d quarter, we would have scored 50 and 60 points on every one but UNCheat, and Dabo played a lot of players in that game also... As I've already posted, what have the sec teams done that we have done with the exception of risking their starters in blow out games, and that don't make them better, it makes them stupid!!!

What has Bama, LSU, Florida, or UGA done that Clemson hasn't done bc looking at their schedule, they haven't done anymore than Clemson bc the teams they have played has proven to be no more than what we have played!!! The only thing different that I see they have done, is their HC is willing to risk starters after they have blown out whoever they have played, so please correct me if I'm wrong!!!

You folks should know how it works by now-rank 3 to 5 ESecPN

Oct 13, 2019, 6:36 PM

teams in the top 10 to start the year and when they beat each other they remain in the top 10 cause playing top 10 teams. If ACC had say Clemson, FL State, VT, Miami and NC ranked in the top 10 to start the year, then when they beat each other ESecPN could say can't drop them out cause they are playing top 10 teams, ex. Gaytors and Leg Humpers still in top 10.

Remember: The only poll that matters is the final with the hardware!

Re: You folks should know how it works by now-rank 3 to 5 ESecPN

Oct 13, 2019, 7:53 PM

Exactly right. Start them in the top 10 to make every game look like a tough game. Why does a 5-0 Wake Forest team drop out after loosing. We all know if it was a 5-0 miss state loosing they would still be in top 25

Look at Wakes schedule, then look at 3 of their wins of their 1st four games, and maybe that will help, especially with them losing to Louisville... And I'll make it easy for you....

The silver lining is that it takes the pressure and media spotlight off us as #1. Plus if knocking us down a peg or two gets our men focused and dialed in then this ends up being a blessing in disguise. Win and we're in!

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: TNET: Clemson drops spot in new AP Poll

Oct 13, 2019, 11:13 PM

It is the mission of the secheat folks (which includes esecpn) to make sure as many of "their teams" rank as highly in the polls as is conceivably possible. They never let up, and Clemson never ceases to disappoint us by delivering a severe #### whipping to their anointed deities. (Don't believe me? Just look at the ugay fiasco on Saturday.) With the performance we displayed for the world to see on Saturday, there is zero way we shouldn't be, at least #2, and probably back in the top spot. Remember, the secheat rankings are based on hyped up myth i.e. ugay) that keeps being promulgated over and over again.
