Money. These kids today dont care about workshops and such when Texas and other schools are offering guaranteed dollar amounts in the six figures. I got halfway through that release and detected ########. If you want to compete now, you got to show them the money, not workshops and self righteous BS.

Just my 2 cents. This is what 90% of the programs will do but it won’t compare to what the other 10% are doing (UGA, A&M, tOsU, SoCal, UF, etc).

Totally agree, I think. I don't understand enough of how this gets $$ for our atheletes. If this is what Neff was banking on helping Brad recruit, then how??? These kids probably already know more about it than most... Imo. Because they talk to each other. Where's the splash announcements like we heard coming from Texas, Bama etc where athelete x gets 7 figures.
As I said, I don't understand enough about how this helps.

SC law concerning NIL limits how much the University can be involved with the money side of all this. Any announcement on money deals or money agreements would probably have to come from some organization outside the university. Need a universal law/rule that covers all NCAA Universities and, at least somewhat, levels the playing field.

We need to get started on creating an NIL collective to fund the kind of $ it’s going to take to stay on top. I’d be shocked if we (fans/boosters) weren’t in the process of trying to set one of these up already, but I haven’t seen any indication in the media that we are.
