By the numbers: Clemson offensive woes worsen, defense slips spots too

One of but a few bright spots for Clemson in the national rankings comes with its own caveat. By the numbers, Clemson moved up to No. 1 nationally in both red zone defense (.600 scoring allowed) and red zone TD percentage (.250), but that's in part a product of both Pittsburgh offensive TDs Saturday Read Update »

Maybe it will all collapse for good. The folks that hung in there with Clemson for years got priced out of seats for Rich elitists and corporate. Now that its bad they will be the first to bail leaving Dabo with what? And the players see the nepotism. But you guys on the football staff monitoring this board do a good job of cancelling posts that dont fut your narrative. But hey. At least you had to read it to cancel it. Go Nepotism - U

Those "rich elitists and corporate" types are a huge reason why we have the program we do. You can't have the best facilities in college football or the highest paid coaching staff in college football without big donors.

Obviously, the right coaches, the right administration, and a supportive fan base as a whole are needed as well. But your ideal of a fan base that gives $100 a year to IPTAY and carries on the giving tradition of their grandpappy is not going to work in 2021.

Hi…I’m Dabo Sweeney—y’all paid me $9 MIL a year so I built a 20,000-square-foot home in Clemson where I can read my press clippings in every room so…I have and hey—now I can’t beat an egg and I’m a legend in my own mind !!!
