The interesting question on Tigernet as this season comes to a close and projections get more and more clear will be:

Does everyone love this early projection and would you rather be the #2 seed to a mid major team?

Or will everyone prefer that the Tigers get to host again and break through on our own field?

There is still a lot of baseball left to watch this season before I am ready to choose which side of this question I will fall.

I think this is based off of what they think will happen and not what has already happened.

We actually have a pretty difficult schedule the rest of the season.

Unfortunately BC and ND were the weaker part of our schedule and we only managed to go 3-3.

I think it's a fair projection based on our total body of work so far.

Looks about right , with a young team and a very hard schedule from here on out .
With 31 more games to go I hope we at least win 20 more . 20-11 the rest of the way would give us a host.

I’m just worried about teams like WF, Duke , GT and Louisville that have good experienced starting pitching. FSU is having problems with its pitching staff so they could have a down year this season.
We will see some good left handed pitchers the rest of the way. So I’m not going to get too excited if we lose a few here and there. It’s going to happen, we just can’t have long losing streaks.

Very aggressive. We finish 40-16 we’ll be in a super regional imo.

VT, Louisville, FSU, GT, State all have darn good teams. Just hope they don’t get down on themselves if they lose a couple of the series and I honestly think they will lose some. They are very good but very young. Add in 5 mid week games of which two are against uga (20 games total) 11-9 would be tremendous.

9 other games at 7-2 and that puts us around 37-19 before ACC Tournament. Still think we host with that schedule.
