Geville Tiger on Clemson football , "Dabo's only problem is he has to deal with turd fans questioning every move he makes.”

If you leave the Clemson program without even waiting to see what is next after coaching change then you NEVER were a true TIGER and cooterville is probably your best fit . Wish them no ill will but was never a Tiger!!

I always supported him here but LOL

Jun 15, 2022, 9:52 AM

Definitely home he starts for them. He’s good for at least 4-5 passed balls a game.

Not sure why they are scooping up so many of our guys. Are they not aware of our level of play after the 14-0 start?

Seriously! They must be in worse shape than we are. Wish them well but will not lose any sleep with those 2 transfers.

Any Tiger player that transfers to the coots, they were never a good Tiger, and that was probably the problem that caused Monte to lose his job!!!

I didn't know you could get sent down to the minors in college.

badge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Clemson doesn't care about basketball....as evidenced by Brown-L getting 14 years.

Petulant little children!

Perfect example of today’s kids. Don’t get your way throw a little tantrum. If you loved Monte Lee so much you should’ve played better!

When your coach gets fired and you not only leave the program that you committed to but you go to their most hated rival that tells me you were never really committed to or loved Clemson. It’s like when something tragic happens and need your friends but look around and see who’s not there. Often it’s the ones you thought were your closest friends. Then you think about it and realize they were never really your friends.

Life‘s not fair children.

Character is how you respond to adversity.

When Tommy Bowden got fired (Yes he did!) did we have any players leave the football team? I don’t remember any. But I do remember them carrying Dabo on their shoulders off the field after beating South Carolina.

BS

Jun 15, 2022, 10:20 AM

My kids arent like that. It’s a reflection of the parents, not the kids. Too many Gen X helicopter parents that baby their kids and turn them into brats. My kids work for everything they get , even though I could buy them anything they want

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Oh my God, seriously?

Jun 16, 2022, 2:34 AM

People like you are such idiots.

When me and other people make such comments we don’t mean all children, 100% of children, don’t be so dense. Don’t be so sensitive. Yes but a very very very large percentage of kids are that way because of their parents and social media as well as Hollywood and the rest of our putrid amoral culture at the moment.

I believe your 100 % correct. They were never loyal to clemson and that was part of the problem. But ask yourself WHO recruited these type of kids ?

Re: Petulant little children!

Jun 15, 2022, 5:33 PM [ in reply to Petulant little children! ]

The question is did the kid come to Clemson b/c of Clemson or b/c of the coach? Either answer should be acceptable. Not everyone is going to be 100% in on Clemson that comes to Clemson.

2024 white level memberbadge-donor-05yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

That is certainly true.

Jun 16, 2022, 2:41 AM

And I’m sure kids do come because of coaches.

But after you have been at school for a year or two, especially a fantastic place like Clemson, to turn around and run away when your coach gets fired for not doing his job, it’s silly. Especially if you do it before waiting to see who the new coach is going to be and get to know him and his staff. There’s no hurry to run to another school.

But if you wanna leave that’s fine. I don’t think you should, but they have that right. But running to your biggest rival, that’s where I have a serious problem! That’s like saying I’ll show you I’m gonna go to South Carolina, Clemson’s hated rival and I’m going to help them beat Clemson because I’m mad at Clemson. That’s my point. That’s being a petulant child.

Y’all remember when this rivalry was all about pure hatred and no one in their right mind would have done this in any sport? What once was a great rivalry is now a shell of its former self in all aspects

Going for .190 next year?

No wonder this baseball season was not a success. We had a bunch of traitors on the team.

Traded a possible Clemson degree for a worthless coot one. Good luck with that.

Well if he is leaving just because of a coaching change then he is not committed to Clemson University.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

In all fairness- baseball is totally different than

any other sport due to the limited/partial scholarships. A lot of guys end up with student loan debt vs other sports that are 100% paid for

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Makes me wonder if Monty’s heart was in it

Jun 15, 2022, 12:20 PM

He was a coot after all, and he came from my hometown which is “coot central”. I was so lucky to escape from there

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Main concern or question would be..

Jun 15, 2022, 12:35 PM

why not wait a bit to see who the new coach will be and maybe he would be someone you could support and learn from..

b/4 going to an instate rival who's program isn't so hot either..and you've got to learn their coaches, system & players..

and get a need place to live & park & shop, etc!

Geez rather unsettling & risky to me plus a headache in life.

He will be another Mendoza line coot. Pecking at the dirt behind home plate.

Re: TNET: Another former Tiger commits to Gamecocks

Jun 15, 2022, 2:31 PM

He could at times hit home runs and other big hits but he’s not consistent. Still a better hitter than Steve Pyzik but that’s not saying much. Pyzik was a way better catcher overall however and didn’t consider turning rogue.

This is the irony

Jun 16, 2022, 12:34 AM

I have no idea who either of these guys are because I checked out a long time ago from Clemson Baseball under Monte Lee. I was a casual fan, checking the record, but not watching the games, not going to the games, not knowing the players, etc. My neighbor, who is a big Vandy BB guy told me about Erik Bakich, and just how good he thinks he is, and it got me excited. I came here to see what the talk was and see these two dufuses transferring out to the coots. It is almost like they are scared to be coached by someone worth a crap, but oh well. Good luck to them lol.
