5-star Clemson target announces commitment date
A five-star defender who recently called Clemson his leader is announcing his commitment soon. Five-star 2022 defensive end Jeremiah Alexander will announce a commitment on July 8, he said late Friday. He visited Clemson last month after adding a Clemson offer in January. You're thinking of Travis Shaw. UNC isn't in play for Alexander. It's Bama, Clemson, or Georgia.

Not a done deal yet. I like where Clemson is, but nothing is ever quite finished when you are dealing with Bama, especially with an in-state kid.

Word on the street? Who is the source? Unless you are going by the 2 outdated picks on 247. I am not saying he is or isnt a Clemson commit, but when you say "word on the street" then that means you have a source not just a hunch.

Definitely no inside info but I think the history is good news for us. Decommit, visit, names us leader, tons of social media interaction with our coaches and players, goes silent on social media, moves up his commitment announcement. Typically those chain of events spells success for us. Hopefully it stays true with Alexander joining the fold.
