Seriously, is there a better DC in college FB than Brent Venables, FB fans want to know!!! In my personal opinion, I say no there is not. It maybe a couple as good, but I don't think that there is any better!!!

Never saw a coach that intense since, maybe Erk Russell when he was at ugay with the head butting stuff. He was no Brent Venables, though they thought he was. They think a lot of things at ugay that are not necessarily true.

Dooley was overrated, way overrated! Maybe Erk was the answer for them. It would have been fun to watch that play out. I will say that Erk surely deserved the chance to be "The Guy" at ugay.

Totally agree. No offense to Coach Scott but what CBV has done is nothing short of genius. He is the real genius kid. I don’t care what schedule you play, just dialed in.
He’s right, uva is a good team and mack brown spent a whole year to scheme against him and still only managed 20 points. Taking the orange colored glasses off, our D is young and the talent level is way down.
Hands down the best and probably the best there’s ever been.

In the UNC game it wasn't the defense that was struggling , it was inconsistency on offense that gave us fits . Travis lost a fumble , etc .
