Yes. No one wants this placed on their plate, but I believe there are few coaches better suited to bring healing to their team and the UVA campus as a whole.

It's tough enough to be a football coach at UVA and this just seems like piling on, but Tony Elliott is a man of quiet strength and integrity with a solid foundation of faith.

Thoughts and prayers for Coach Elliott, the UVA team, those wounded and for the families of the dead.

My heart breaks for those three young men who lost their lives to a one-time teammate. I simply cannot imagine being a family member of those children. It would, as a mother, devastate me for life, because I probably never understand why this happened. My prayers are with the families, friends and students of the University of Virginia. No one can say anything that will truly comfort them in this time of loss save that these athletes are with God now and he will make them whole again.

I sincerely hope that Dabo's Tigers will do for these players what was done for Bryan Bresee when he lost Ella. It's all about small acts of kindness, and I feel like this would be that kindness the Viginia players families would appreciate.

That being said, if you have children, infants, toddlers, preteens, teenagers, college students or grown, hug them tight or call them and tell them you love them to the moon and back.
