Oh Lord. Nothing comes easy this year. I think we were gifted the Shipley TD with some questionable penalties. But I’ll take it. My wife is a Seminole grad class ‘95 and a much better looser than I am. Praise the Lord I can sleep tonight. Should have not been that close. Our defense was excellent again.
As a side note I guess Vegas finally got it right with that last play. A better example of our entire season could not have been produced by Hollywood

Defense was Spectacular!! Fabulous job by Barrett to stay in the play and score at the end!!! Shipley must be a reincarnation of Renfro!! Someone needs to answer why DJ “Deer in the headlights” is still on the field! He seems to be clueless, which is very troubling. 1982 Grad from Clem and this is the most mysterious player I’ve ever seen suited up and allowed to continue playing. Our defense is beat up because of their time having to be on the field!! Love my Tigers, but it’s time to move on at QB. He’s NOT getting better and we’re through 8 games!! GO TIGERS!!

Good evening Tiger faithful. I will be very brief. For the most part, I have been silent when it comes to our woefully unproductive offense. I have logged on many many times and read countless opinions of Netter's here. I will now break my silence. DJ is completely horrible. If he was willing to take a hit, or hit someone else, I would say play him at tight end.
I have heard many of you say TE needs to go. I have even heard some say Dabo needs to go. I truly believe that DJ is not able to play at this level. Honestly, I wouldn't pick him first in a pickup game. TE and Dabo have simplified the play calling because Cinco cannot handle anything more advanced. He stares down his primary receiver. He cannot make the right decision whether to step up in the pocket, or to scramble. He refuses, or lacks the ability, to read the coverage. He cannot "feel" the pressure around him. Too many times it seems as if he flips a coin in his head when making bang bang decisions. Worse, he lacks the leadership quality a person would expect out of a QB. Thank God for Ship's perseverance and speaking out about the lack of leadership on the O side. His comments opened my eyes a bit.
I will close by saying I love Clemson and our Tigers. I am a true fan through the good times and the bad. It kills me to see these guys wasting the precious last moments in college wishing/hoping others will "come around". 'Nuf said.

Totally agree with your summations!! The telegraphing of throws has lost us 3 games. Ross has been open WAY too many times but very few accurate throws to him and the whole receiving corp is ridiculous!!! If Shipley gets hurt, with all his talent, we’re doomed on Offense until there is a QB change. Don’t blame the OL. They’re playing their hearts out!! GO TIGERS!

I remember reading on this site plenty of comments on how Shipley shouldn't be playing.
