Did we quit recruiting the state of SC? It would be nice to see a few state kids on the roster. Our state plays a high quality of high school football, I think we could find a few players worthy of our attention.

Sounds like a great group of talent.***

College coaches get paid well, but recruiting takes a lot of

time and evaluation, and is a big chunk of where they really earn that money. This is the area where Dabo's staff continuity really pays off. Recruits know that the guy they are talking to will most likely still be around for their whole college career. If they are smart, this should be a big deal when they decide what school to attend.

And, a great thing for us, (and it hasn't always been this way, I still remember Jamie Harper from the Bowden days) our coaches make no promises to potential players, other than that they will have a chance to EARN playing time. Any kid who is mature and thinks he really is a good player will respect that. Prima donnas can go elsewhere.

I really hope we can land Ga’Quincy McKinstry

Just for his name alone.

Reminds me of Key & Peele’s “East/West All-Star” skit

Agiye Hall and Mario Williams won’t be able to make it, due to their high school games being rescheduled because of Hurricane Dorian.

5-star TE Arik Gilbert will also be in attendance. Expect Burch to show up as well.
