This whole Clemson basketball thing is “we’ve never been good,” so let’s appreciate being ok.

Sorta like, being 55 and only having a small amount of retirement savings. Let’s just be satisfied with that. No need to work harder (and smarter) for more.

More like hiring the same financial planner

And buying small caps for 11-12 straight years. You mean other investors are buying FAANG? Who knew?

Cold late? Heck, they shot 31% in the 1st half!***

I think for this CBB needs another 30 yr extension

Mar 19, 2021, 11:50 PM

Not like we didn’t see this one coming...

I would love to see any good arguments for not firing Brownell. I mean that sincerely, because I can’t imagine what they are.

Lost tonight on the boards....

Mar 19, 2021, 11:55 PM

Yes we could have shot better but the 9 rebound deficit (and related possessions) easily cost us the 5 points needed to win the game.

Proud of the players and coaches (including CBB) for a great season in the face of all the adversity! Congrats to the seniors on great careers and God speed!

Go Tigers! Clemson GRIT!!

Go Tigers!
Thanks for all the efforts by Coaches, Players, Administrators, and Fans to pull this season off during this crazy pandemic environment.
I'm disappointed and hurt but very proud of our team's effort and spirit. Just wish we could play all our games at Littlejohn!

Also makes me feel better to see Ohio State & Purdue go home early.

That absolutely sucked. How you let a talent like Sims sit on the high post all night is baffling to any amateur coach.

I don’t get any breaks in my business for being a nice/good guy. I spend a lot of money for the full cost of two sons to attend Clemson + contributions, and have a competitive desire to win. I disdain this continued delivery of “just a notch above mediocre” prevailing. Which is exactly what yet another season has been.

Bama didn’t settle. Why should we?

Why would a recruit come here to play for Brad? He is not compelling and he isn’t dynamic (persona or gamesmanship).

If we were trending up, that would be great. But we certainly aren’t. It is time for change. Anyone who disagrees is willing to settle for mediocrity.

Exactly my point for the last 6 years

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Don't go around saying that.

It makes too much sense and confuses those who cannot see reality. Last night was so, so predictable. Which I did to my wife before the game. As did most of the national pundits.

I guess time to give Brownell another extension and raise.

Look, we are simply not talented enough on offense for our "scorers" to have off nights. When you shoot a dismal 35.6% and get outrebounded by 9, you lose. I don't call out players but I saw some horrible 3 point shots thrown up by a couple of guys who just had bad nights. It seemed like every bounce and 50/50 ball went Rutgers way but if we just shoot 40%, we win the game.

I hate to have to say it, yet again, but SSDD! Some things never seem to change.

What happened to Dawes and Honor the last 2 games

Mar 21, 2021, 9:59 PM

Dawes did not shoot and Honor could not hit. Loss of confidence?
