........of today's Clemson Tigers. Would Clemson be where they are without Boyd taking a flier on a wide receivers coach who'd never been a coordinator much less head coach, Idk. Boyd played a larger role in getting DW4 here maybe not so much by his words but by his play. Tajh Boyd will always be an era defining player to me.

I have often posted and believe that Tiger Football owes more credit to Boyd than he gets, and he gets a lot!

My all time favorite Tajh Boyd moment was the pass to "Nuke" Hopkins that set up the winning Catanzaaro field goal in the Chick-fil-A Bowl against LSU. That game proved that Clemson belonged and that we had the players who could make the big play when the chips were down. Tajh was a great recruit from Virginia, the state we've called home for over 50 years, and where VA Tech had ruled the ACC for a number of years. We often celebrate our ability to "steal" recruits from Georgia, Florida and Alabama, etc., but getting Tajh out of Virginia was a big deal. It will be great to have him back in Tiger Town.

That entire game showed the Tajh Boyd most critical critic's who Tajh Boyd really was as Clemson's QB, and how tough and solid he was. I am not a man crush kind of man, but I love Tajh bc of everything he gave to/at Clemson, and he gave it his all.
I truly believe that the two teams that we won National Championships with, we could have also won those game with Tajh behind center with those same two teams. And I'm very glad that he has said yes to Dabo again, and this time he has agreed to help our Tigers win as a coach, and he will give all that he has to give in that role with our Clemson Tigers also, and once he learns the coaching part of FB, he will be even greater than he ever was as our QB!!!
