Outside of ND, Scar is the best team we will play this regular season. I know Dabo paints every team is the best but he's not joking this week.
Scar had a lot of turnovers in the Arkansas game but they still hung around. The mizzou game was the game they wanted Satterfield fired. I watched that game and it was a head scratcher on play calling. And they were still in the game late. Plus they weren't playing bell. Fla jumped on them 21-0 with some fantastic plays like we did Miami last week.
Point being, Scar could easily be coming in here 9-2. So yeah, I think it'll take our best 4 quarter game of the year. I'm sure everyone will laugh at that but they're a good team.

Just kidding. You're right. This is the best SC (threw up a little bit) that we've faced in a while. If the play calling is good, DJ throws well and we catch well - we'll be fine. I think Mafa and Shipley will have good games and our D will give them trouble.

Ditto on throwing up a bit. I treat this as a "ghee hawd " ? game. Would feel better if The Rev would declare it. I've posted a bunch about how badly I want to get in the cfp this year but if someone told me I'd have to pick between going to cfp or beating the cooters... it's a no doubters beating the cooterbugs. First time all year I've been nervous about a game.

I disagree we’ve faced much better S Carolina teams the big difference is they’re not catching up to us but more like we are trending downward. Nothing would ruin my holidays more than losing the last game of the season, ending our home winning streak and our playoff chances to the Coots!! The noon kickoff was definitely a head scratcher and absolutely helps South Carolina. If we continue to give the ball up as much as we have we’re toast. We got lucky we fumbled a punt inside our own 15, but recovered it and our TE fumbled one that Antonio Williams was Johnny on the spot. Also on Shipleys score to make it 33-10, he was perilously close to losing that ball before he crossed the goal line? Wth is going on? We need to win this game with big plays. If we have to score with 12-15 play drives they will win. We need to score first then punch rattler in the mouth and remind him why he was benched and had to transfer from a storied program like Oklahoma to an armpit like South Carolina.

I think FSU is every bit as good and probably better than South Carolina. They'd almost certainly be favored against South Carolina on a neutral field if they played today.
I think Wake (when healthy as they were against us) is as good as South Carolina (better on offense, not as good on defense)
I think NC State (when healthy as they were against us) is almost certainly better than South Carolina - their record doesn't reflect it because injuries have knocked them back quite a bit, but it would still be close if they played on a neutral field today.
Syracuse isn't as good as South Carolina, but they may not be that far off Louisville isn't as good as South Carolina, but they may not be that far off
The only team in our division that I'm 95% sure that South Carolina would beat on a neutral field is Boston College. They'd be slightly favored in 2, a toss-up in 2, and the underdogs against FSU.

Nothing to add, other than to re-read kgpittm's post.

Students on break and pouring rain are not good for a big crowd. Hopefully the rain will not be too bad but at least South Carolina didn't all their tickets.
