Nolan Turner is not slow. But Cole Turner is reputably faster (as documented by 4.42 / 40).

Regardless of who he is, I think that we should have told him that he has an offer, but it was to be a silent offer. I say silent offer bc when we offer a guy, everybody else takes a look at them, especially when they have went through their HS playing days under the radar. Now everybody will be offering this kid bc he surely looks to have D-1 power 5 talent, and coaches these days has ways to seal talent with the NIL thingy!!!

No childish statement just truth. Every one knows there is a "Friends and Family Plan" as it relates to scholarship allotment and coaching selections. In the future you may want to consider addressing the content of my comments instead of resorting to name calling such as childish. This is how normal intelligent adults handle things.

You are putting down a kid that the Clemson staff is recruiting . I do not think that is fair or helpful to the tiger program in any way shape or form. To the contrary it is very harmful.

It is not my intent to put this young man down. I am quite sure he is a good young man who will grow to be an asset to society and make his family proud at whatever he chooses to do in the future. My point is don't try to state he is so super talented that he bolsters the current WR group. Like I've reiterated just call it for what it is....if he should decide to attend Clemson everyone on the team will know the situation. I am quite sure he will persevere and prove himself to his peers.

You would have said much worse about Hunter Renfrow if his cousin played for Clemson.
He is going to break Raiders records set by Jerry Rice and Tim Brown...
A 4.42 kid that has heart will be a big asset to this team, even if it is only special teams. Plenty of 5 Star guys turn out to be busts. Derion Kendrick was almost a wasted 5 Star, but he's doing well for Georgia now, where he is a good fit.
I wish him well.
With his speed and results from high school, Cole can probably return punts and kicks, along with being a receiver. He will be at Clemson for 4 or 5 years, and you will not see him in the portal. I doubt he will get arrested being passed out with weed and a gun in his car either.
When you grow up, you can drink your whiskey without ice in the winter time....

Dude, if he has 4.4 speed lose that family friend crying crap. Even if he’s a developmental kid we know the heart of his Dad and his brother. He won’t get in trouble. He will have a warrior mentality. He won’t go running to the portal with his lip poked out at the first sign of adversity. He won’t be a prima Donna in the program worrying about his NIL deals. He will be All In. We are way below scholarship numbers. This is a great offer.

If he was really that good or had so much potential I don't think Auburn or Bama would not have offered him, especially being an in state player. I am no way saying he is a bad kid.....but stop trying to paint the kid as the next Steve Largent or Cooper Kupp. Call it for what it is.....his Father was a teammate of the head coach and that's why he is getting offered....much like what was done for his Brother Nolan.

Nobody called him the next Cooper Kupp. But most Tiger fans will be happy if he is the next (offensive version) of Nolan Turner. Lots of folks clamoring for Dabo to go to the portal to get depth. This is depth. Lots of the same folks saying we need a slot receiver and not all WRs need to be 6’5” and 215 pounds. Sounds like he checks a lot of boxes for what the TNet coaches say Dabo needs to do.

Well his brother didn't work out to bad. I understand what you are saying but we have plenty of scholarships. If these kids don't go to the right camps they aren't going to be a highly rated recruit. With 4.42 speed and good size, 6'2" it doesn't sound like a bad one to take a flyer on.
