I want to be the first person to point out how wrong I was..

In ‘19 I posted about the ‘18 recruiting class and used Ruke as an example of how weak the defensive haul was.

SHAME ON ME!!

This man has put in the work, absorbed the coaching, and DEVELOPED!

I could not have been more wrong and I wanted to pry my foot out of my mouth for just a moment to point this out.

Ruke was my prediction for a surprise player of the year, I’m so proud he made it happen because It was a total guess on potential.

Definitely a diamond in the rough. Kind of an Ajou Ajou at DL. Not a lot of football experience but had the physical tools and added the size necessary. After that it was all putting in the mental work. There have been plenty of Clemson DLinemen that weren’t 4-5 star or even 3 that shined. Some of them playing in the NFL now.

I think Tyler had freshman success. Hasn't really been a factor since. I think he is going to wake up and realize that it's time to play a little banged up! Or it's time to play for my NFL Future! When he does, he will be nasty!
