Talk to your Senators and Congressman and not coaches or sports figures. NIL is a law not an idea and you can't close the hen house door after the foxes are in.

Lawrence while he was at Clemson said it NIL bad the college sports. SCOTUS couldn't do their job not declaring 2020 winners before voter fraud invested. Doing that GOP would have won at 3 branches. US not in this mess now. But they did NIL where players can get paid and colleges still have to pay for their scholarships. If they want it like NFL then each college needs salary cap for teams. Not unlimited money.

I agree that NIL is about to get out of hand. There needs be some National legislation to put restrictions on it.

But I can't think of one law that wouldn't be struck down

NFL history shows that giving immature players tons of cash isn't a good recipe. I don't have the full solution but don't be surprised when you see a spike in legal issues with college players. Now more than ever it's important to draft players with a good moral compass.

Crime will raid the college campuses that has tons of NIL money being paid to kids. More drugs, more killings, more robberies, it will be just right for mafia gangs to move right in, and that's when the law makers will start squalling that it has to stop after a few hundred college age kids are shot down just for walking down the side walk close to a sought after gang member!!!

One good thing will come of it, new colleges will start springing up everywhere with no sports programs allowed!!!

If the NCAA don't want to stand up for the right things of college sports, they should be fired, and someone else hired to do the job. Isn't that the way things are done when a firm is hired for whatever job, and they state that they don't want to do what's right anymore, aren't they replace by someone that can, and will do what's right.

Colleges should just stop paying the NCAA until everyone from the top to the bottom has been replace, and a new board of trustee's voted on, and put in place to get college sports back to what college sports has always been, an amateur sport!!!

I'm not so sure but, the transfer portal with the rules that it operates by, was intended to work along with the NIL where the highest bidder gets what they want!!!

The worst people they make any important decision are politicians yet they get to make all the important decisions. And we wonder why our country is in such a mess…
