Pregame Keys: Swinney might text Mack Brown to ask him the keys to the game

At some point this week, Clemson head coach Dabo Swinney will look down at his phone and see that he’s received a text from North Carolina head coach Mack Brown. Swinney will reply to the text and ask Brown the three keys for beating the Tar Heels.

Apparently, Dabo doesn't hate UNC as much as some of us
who've been around and remember the 80s and 90s with UNC
being the supposed moral compass of the ACC and the
ringleader for the extra probation. Then there was Dean
Smith and Lenny Wertz throwing their weight around and of
course, we still have to live with the ever present John Swofford.

Dabos feelings for Coach Brown would not necessarily be the same as his feelings for UNC!

Its not good to hold a grudge but after they lead the charge to bury us in '82 (ACC probation). I'd rather beat their pompous behinds more than ANYONE on the schedule.

Roger that! I graduated from both schools, and I have a much greater affection for CU than I'll ever have for UNC. I can vouch for their superiority complex within the ACC, which resembles those of UVA and Duke. As for "moral superiority," I would direct your attention to the years of fraud connected to their basketball program. The NCAA could have suspended them for years, but I guess all the money in royalties
was seemingly more important than integrity. In short, it wouldn't break my heart to see Clemson beat their tails for about five years in a row.
