Look The only way I thought Cade would play was if when the game was in N.C. hands. Cade only went in a few plays 2 or 3 games all season. NC planning was planning was right just couldn’t make adjustments. By the way I am a Clemson fan.

DJ sucked against Syracuse and got the hook in the 2nd half.
DJ sucked at ND and played way too long before throwing Cade into a no win situation.
DJ sucked against USC the whole 2nd half and no Cade.
I had no expectations Cade would play. The first 2 series went exactly like I thought they would. Throwing for no reason and them being ###### screens or incomplete. I was SHOCKED Cade came in the next series and went off.

That outside screen they use, teams in Australia would be prepared for them, there is a gang of tacklers waiting to pad their stats on us with that play, and Streeter will call it 10-12 times a game in some form!!! Dabo should fire the next coach who even suggest running it!!!

Mack expected Dabo to be consistent and leave him on the bench like he pretty much had all year. He figured if he didn't put him in vs. SC then they were good to go.

It was akin to using gear oil in a Race car for 12 races. Then someone says, “ well gawwwwle, were using the wrong oil.” Put in the Pennzoil and vroom . A well oiled machine.

Technically it's the same offense, but functionally it's not the same. There's zero downfield passing threat with DJ at QB so teams can scheme to stack the box and attack the LOS more aggressively. Cade is also quick enough to roll out and throw or scramble. DJ can only scramble up the middle because he doesn't have the speed to get the edge.

We as fans were woefully unprepared for Cade. We had been told he wasn’t ready for so long I think we started to believe it. Gaslighting by our own coaches wasn’t cool!

Yeah, and these stats will keep ‘ol Mack scratching his head: The Heels had 26 first downs to our 17; 386 total yards to our 385; plus 113 rushing yards to our 68–and we have Will Shipley!; only 44 fewer passing yards than we had; plus fewer penalties than we had. And they got blown out? Just goes to show how a couple of key turnovers, a couple of special teams plays and a 98-yard pick six can dramatically alter a game. But there was also that powerful intangible factor that has been missing since Trevor left. Cade not only fired up our offense, he fired up our defense too. You could literally see our entire game transformed after Cade took over.
