From everything that our coaches are saying, our got put in their place against a fresher, rested OSU, and they are understanding why their coaches are telling them in every practice that they should make every practice count, and getting better with your next practice is what helps them to pick up the pace when they face a team that is as talented as they are.
Our players has to get where Danny Ford's players often said they were at, and that was they looked forward to game day bc playing the game was much easier than practice. When coaches push their players to where actually playing the game is easier than practice, they don't get pushed around the way OSU pushed them around without the conditioning to push back just as hard for the entire 60 minutes of a game, any game, against any team.
I do believe that complacency sometimes sets in with our guys bc of the ACC schedule that play every week, every season. So I believe who ever does our out of conference scheduling, should never schedule another cup cake team for our Tigers to play bc, we have become good enough to play championship FB in the championship part of the season, and we need to play competitive team that can challenge our guys for 60 minutes, over them we use to practice with for 1st half every season!!!!

I agree the scheduling but whoever sets up the games whether it be Danrad or whoever thinks we owe it to teams like Furman, Wofford or SC State to play them.

He is inspiring them to play hard. Nothing wrong with that.
Someone above mentioned the players and team need to be worked so hard game day would be a break. I think most teams have a similar practice schedule during the season. Limited days to wear pads and hit, sprints a lot, workouts with only helmets and shoulder pads, very easy day before game.

Dabo's locker room material given them. I maintain they were much more fired up. I don't think that Dabo will make that mistake again?

All in on Booth, Greene and Wiggins. The older guys have been given many opportunities and cannot produce. Davis has personal business to take care of. Go Tigers!

Why start now? Shouldn't we have been practicing/playing that way this whole time?
[There is some sarcasm in that statement, and before I get crucified, also sarcasm in the avatar picture of ol' Grandpaw sialoquent.]
Our cornerbacks need to be more disciplined and focused (on and off the field). Sometimes going for the pick causes us to miss the tackle. They are not alone in their need to be more hardened... Our O-Line needs to be knuckles in the dirt and tough as nails, and should scare the poop out of all ACC teams at minimum. Then we win, win, win when DJ has time to cook.

It's football, hit'em! They shouldn't need to be coached to play aggressively at this level.
