Besides having everything that Clemson offers where Matayo is already a family member, at Clemson he would also have the best defensive coordinator in college FB with Brent Venables, and one of the top head coaches in college FB in Dabo Swinney.
Unlike with Bama, or with OSU, at Clemson he wouldn't have to ever worry about the defensive coordinator leaving to go be a HC at another school, and I would bet that BV would make, and keep that promise to any kid that comes to play on the defensive side of the ball at Clemson!!!!!!

At some point, recruits have to start thinking that he's not going to be there for the next 3-4 years. And like you said, he rotates the rest of his coaching staff every 1-2 years.

Saban just signed a contract extension last week that will keep him at UA through the 2028 season.
