My friend and I were walking around Death Valley before entering the gate for a big night game. I noticed the Honorable Tim Scott with guards walking towards the entrance to the suites. So, I pointed it out to my friend. She ran up to him screaming his name and gave him a big hug. All I could think was, "We are going to get arrested and miss this game."
But, the guards were very forgiving, and Rep. Scott was very cordial and thanked us for our support.
(Oh, well, it is my story involving a Clemson football game and a hug in the parking lot.)
