More importantly. What's the buy out? One season doesn't erase the 4 prior years of being bottom half of the league and not making the NCAA tournament... hate to see us get stuck with a coach who has consistently underperformed because he had one good season. Which admittedly was a great season, especially with his best player being injured. Just don't want to see Clemson make a knee jerk reaction that could effect the long-term health of its program.

You're entitled to your opinion, but I disagree with it bc when Brad got to Clemson, the program wasn't in the best of shape and our coach just run out on us with nothing good in the terms of recruiting the next year. Our facilities were co-ed, and it pretty near impossible to bring in top talent in a run down co-ed practice arena. I personally think that it was brave of Brad to take the Clemson job with the shape that our Basketball program was in. I've always believe that Brad would be a good coach for us if our admin gave him something to work with, something that most quality coaches would have demanded before coming to coach at Clemson's BB program!!! As long as our admin will continue giving Brad the necessary tool to build with, he will continue to build teams we can be proud of....

Brownell is quite possibly the first coach in our history

to have the full support of the university and AD behind him. Great facilities; raises for current assistants and two new hires, including a long time head coach; returns a consensus top 20 team; recruiting continues to improve. The present, and future, actually look bright. Good time to lock him up

Great point! Amazing how far we've come since spring 2017.***
