He's not a lock now, according to his quotes. He likes us most, but there are 2 others he's considering, too. There is much time for him, and us, to decide if we are the right fit. He seems quick enough, but I worry about his weight. Our great strength and conditioning program can benefit this young man. I do like his sound reasoning as to the promises he seems to have heard at other schools. I like that he knows he will have to work hard against great competition. Time will tell.

Adding a guy like this to last year's class and last year's freshman star Tyler Davis would be almost a crime. Clemson's DL is going to be super stout for a while.

Only thing that could hold him back is conditioning. If he's all-in when it comes to that, Page will dominate the interior.
Freshman year will probably be a learning and conditioning curve because of the supreme talent in front of him, but his upside is very high.

Glad to know he can see right through the BS of, if you come here you will start. A lot of kids believe that BS bc that is what they want to do, but it never happens unless he is committing to a school outside of the power 5, or everybody at that position is out with an injury. Other than that, it won't happen!!!

This is our most important prospect left in this class. He has been taking on double teams with teams running away from him and still producing. I can’t wait to see him in Orange.
This kid is big and carries his weight much like Dexter but he’s even bigger being 6’4” and growing. He could easily be 6’6”by the time he lines up in college. His target playing weight could be 350-360 considering his size. Payton isn’t a overweight Belk, take a look at his highlight video and understand this was at 16 years old and he moving very quick for a DT.
Payton is going to be another great Tiger we will remember for years to come. Todd Bates will help him be the best he can be.

Getting through his time at Clemson without injury, he will be a top 5-10 draft pick depending on how well he develops if he only spends 3 years at Clemson and the coaching staff. His choice should easily be Clemson bc he has seen how well Clemson top D lineman has done in the NFL draft. It's a no brainer IMO!!!
