TNET: Clemson players looking forward to seeing "unorthodox" Tavien Feaster

Clemson players looking forward to seeing "unorthodox" Tavien Feaster

Clemson players and coaches will see a familiar face when they face South Carolina in Columbia at the end of the month. Former Clemson running back Tavien Feaster made the decision late last summer to use his final year of eligibility with the Gamecocks, but it doesn’t change to love the Tigers feel for their former teammate.

Tavien Feaster, here is your greatest opportunity to contribute to Clemson. LOL

I had no real issue with him going somewhere for more playing time, but NOT there! He could have went to MANY other places and had more impact. To go to Kootzville? Not Cool!

That’s like loving an ex wife that left you

Nov 20, 2019, 8:26 AM

for a woman who talked crap about you the entire time you were married. Sorry but to still feel love for the ex is just bizarre.

Definitely agree with this. I think as fans we don't like to think that these players don't hate players on the other team but even if they don't know them, they know what it takes to play D1 football (is it still called D1?) and respect others that have put in the work like they have. Feaster spent 3 years with our players and they know what he's made of.

Well if you had kids (or touchdowns) together you should still love each other.

It will definitely add a different flavor to this year's game

I’m sure our defense will mess with him. When he is 5 yards behind the line of scrimmage on his back

It was more than unorthodox. It was a strange decision. Muschamp is out the door and Feaster could have gone somewhere cool like Virginia Tech and he probably goes over 1,000 yards and is on a winning team. Also, Blacksburg is beautiful and totally unlike Columbia.

Before and after the game the "love" will flow. During the game it will be smash mouth football. No injuries I hope, just hard hitting rivalry football! GO TIGERS!!

It is a nice article. I'm sure the Tiger defense will be giving him a lot of hugs.

Why do dogs always race to the door when the doorbell rings? It's almost never for them.

Since he quit, left his “bruhs” he’s dead to me. I hope we bust his butt and keep him in the negative yardage range. What a total traitor.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

you're a small small person. pathetic post.

Nov 20, 2019, 9:54 AM

and you clearly never played a sport at a high level. Sports should be pretty much last on our totem pole of life's important things. Friendships > sports.

Ain't gonna hate the Feaster over a bad decision - if I were that kind of guy, my marriage couldn't have survived this long

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Him transferring there still makes no sense

Nov 20, 2019, 9:39 AM

What did he gain?? I remember most people defending his decision saying it was all business and about his future. Have you seen his stats? Very similar to last year. He's not even their starter. Instead of going somewhere that he could start, get more carries, be on a winning team and make a bowl game, he chose to go to our arch rival and finish his career on a 4-8 squad. He's dead to me. I hope we light him up in the game.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: Him transferring there still makes no sense

Nov 20, 2019, 11:05 AM

I don't believed that Feaster becoming a coot had a thing to do with business, I personally think that it had everything to with "I'll show you a thing or two" with his decision being aimed at our coaches bc they chose the best player as the starter, and that best player wasn't Tavien Feaster. I also personally believe that if we're to be honest with ourselves, as much as we hate what happen where Feaster is concerned, we all know in our heart why Feaster is a coot today, and has been since he left Clemson!!!

Oh, yeah - we gonna light him up, but I hope the guys help him up after taking him down - that is the right thing to do

Based on what I’ve seen since he left, I’d be surprised if he gets 40 yards next Saturday

On A More Positive Note

Nov 20, 2019, 11:17 AM

At least the Coots will have a National Championship level player on their squad when they face us.

and turn him into chicken salad by the end of the game...some decisions need to be penalized.
