With so many players commenting that he had a photographic memory

and could recall the 34th play in practice, I was curious to eat the bowl game to see how he picked up on the opposing team’s formations.

I think he did a great job and has a great future. The players on the team seem to love him but for younger recruits he’s probably unknown and won’t pull guys by name recognition or history and he’ll have to earn everything through building relationships with them.

If he is “spawning parody Twitter accounts” the young guys will begin to recognize him quickly. I really think he is going to be a great recruiter based on the comments from current players. Young guy, funny, knowledgeable, and if his defenses continue to produce then he will be well known very soon.

Wonder if he was able to meet recruits. I'm sure he was if BV wanted him. It won't take long. Conn's with him too, as well as Reid. Now Nick.

But request to Dabo - PLEASE find Skalski a job on the sidelines if he doesn't get drafted. Him on the sidelines is truly a thing of beauty. He gets it.

I think Nick Eason along with Wes will help. Huge guy with NFL experience, and the brains of the outfit, could be a good look in young recruits eyes!

Did I miss something? According to our bored, this was another in-house terrible hire. <img border=">

What am I missing? I thought Goodwin was the co-coordinator.

I'm pretty happy with the selection. Venables was great, but he's at BlowU now and his day is over with. That spastic act may not work as a head guy, but time will tell. Blow U got really lucky with Bob Stoops and then again with Lincoln Riley, and maybe they do again with Venables. But, he's gone and now we have Goodwin. I will like his getting the right formations and plays in and on time and without all the act.

It's your era-- your time to shine/ or outshine VENABLES
